Andean support, CS and back office capacity. XCAILE employs people in both countries through local entities, so the choice is about cost, speed, language and exit terms, not about where you can open an entity.

Employer contributions run ~40 to 52% on top of gross in Colombia and ~9 to 13% on top of gross in Peru, on top of gross salary. Severance also differs, Cesantías (1 month/year) + 12% interest in Colombia against CTS + up to 12 months pay for unjust dismissal in Peru, and mandatory extras differ too (Prima de servicios (30 days/year, split Jun/Dec) versus Two bonuses (Jul & Dec) = 2 months/year). Because local salary levels differ as well, XCAILE prices both countries for the same role in one written quote before you choose.
Time to first hire through EOR is 3 to 15 days to hire in Colombia and 3 to 15 days to hire in Peru. XCAILE is the legal employer in both, so no entity is needed in either country and the difference comes from local onboarding and payroll calendars, not from setup.
Colombia sits at UTC−5 (aligns US Eastern) and Peru at UTC−5. Language pools differ too: Spanish (native), English (rising, strong in Bogotá/Medellín) in Colombia, Spanish (native), English (intermediate, rising) in Peru. For customer-facing or executive-support work, overlap and language usually matter more than the employer cost gap.
Notice is None for cause; 30 days otherwise in Colombia and None; severance applies in Peru; severance is Cesantías (1 month/year) + 12% interest against CTS + up to 12 months pay for unjust dismissal. Probation is 2 months in Colombia and 3 months (up to 6 for skilled, 12 for management) in Peru. If the role is uncertain, the shorter-exposure country is often the safer first hire, and XCAILE confirms the exact exit cost in writing before any termination.
Yes. XCAILE covers both countries under a single master agreement, with EOR employment, AOR contractor compliance, or a managed SOW team, and confirms current statutory obligations in writing before any offer letter is issued. One invoice, one point of contact, two countries.
